FIDE 2050

So far, our player has played 47 games and is curently sat on a LiChess rating of 2344.

As the above graph shows, our 2050 FIDE player's rating enjoyed a very rapid climb until it hit 2319. As you can see it is possible to project that the angle of climb suggests the rating will level off at about 2350-2360. Although 47 games were played, our player was disconnected early in a game so we will therefore discard that game from our future calculations.
Of the 46 games played, our player lost 6 games. The average rating of the opponent's our player lost to is 2245 (2288, 2316, 2163, 2307, 2238, 2100).
Our player won 35 games and the average opponent/s rating when the player won is 2094.
There was 5 drawn games out of the 46 games and the average opponent's rating for the drawn games is 2165.

In order to test more accurately, we have suspended play temporarily for our 2050 player in order to eliminate form being a factor. A 2050 player can sometimes play like a 2250 and in other periods of time can play like an 1850. Over time the form will even out and a more accurate and established rating can be obtained.

We also have another player who's rating is around 2050 who in the future will also be playing on behalf of this project so we can see if both their LiChess ratings correlate correctly.

Summary: After the 46 games I project that our 2050 player may be able to achieve LiChess rating in the high 2300s and maintain a rating in this range and may even surpass 2400 but I don't believe our player will be able to maintain a 2400+ rating. Maybe our player was playing of that above a 2050 FIDE level to achieve the current rating of 2344 or maybe their form was below that of the 2050 level. This is why more games will be played over time to allow form (if any) to level out.
